Think of it as emotional jiu-jitsu. You can't escape a hold you can't identify. Once you name it — its power over you begins to dissolve.

Demon Spotting is not a system for charging in swinging. It begins with one thing only — awareness. In jiu-jitsu, you don't start by learning how to attack. You start by learning how to not get hurt. Demon Spotting works the same way.

🌸 Expect Mistakes — They Are the CurriculumYou will misread situations. You will sometimes still step into the River of Shame even when you know better. That is not failure. That is how every jiu-jitsu student learns.

About the Creator

Gwyneth Ragsdale is the creator of Demon Spotting™ and the founder of DramaGuru Academy — a system born not in a classroom, but on the mat.

As a Blue Belt with three stripes in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and a student of MMA, self-awareness training and theology, Gwyneth began noticing patterns in human behavior — and in her own spiritual life. She needed precise language to discern when she was listening to Jesus and when she was being deceived.

In 2014, she introduced Demon Spotting to a small group of friends. They all started crying. Even the men. Because for the first time, someone had given them the exact words for what had been done to them.

The goal has always been the same — to move people from the River of Shame into the River of Grace. Where the right voice is finally clear. 🙏
